ARTIST NATHAN JANES PAINTS MUNNY TO BENEFIT HUMANE SOCIETY

In an effort to support the Humane Society of Broward County, Florida Nathan and a number of nationally known artists have created original Munny (munn-ee) characters now showing in the “For Love of Munny” show at Bear and Bird Boutique and Gallery. Janes has designed and painted a whimsical character titled, “Dogcatcher Catcher,” which will available for purchase at the gallery with a percentage of the sale price going directly to the Humane Society of Broward County. In conjunction with the gallery showing of original Munnies, the 7th Annual “Walk for the Animals” is being held on March 3 to raise much needed funds for the animal shelter.

New "Awaiting a Guardian" painting unveiled!

     In order to further support the Animal Guardian Ribbon campaign, Janes has designed an original work titled “Awaiting a Guardian” which depicts an adoptable dog donning the orange ribbon on his collar.  The dog is also wearing an “Adopt Me” vest which is used by animal rescue organizations nationally to bring attention to adoptable dogs while in public spaces.

Giclee Prints of "Les" Released

In an effort to spread a touching story of one dog's triumph over neglect, Nathan Janes has completed the painting "Les is More". A percentage of the sales from the giclee prints will be donated to the Animal Refuge Center of Fort Myers, Florida where Les was nursed back to health.

Pop ARF participates in Art Unleashed Benefit

Nathan Janes has designed and painted a Mutz the Urban Underdog sculpture, which has been auctioned with all benefits going to the Forsyth Humane Society of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The dog and cat scuptures painted by local and national artists are auctioned at the "Art Unleashed" benefit annually.

Nathan designs Holiday Cover for Tails, Inc. Pet Magazines!

Tails, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that promotes responsible pet guardianship through their magazine publications. Their magazine can be found in a number of cities throughout the United States including San Diego, Chicago and Cincinnati. Nathan Janes' original painting of "Holidog and Hanuccat" graced the cover of the magazine in the Winter of 2005. Check them out!
