Each and every day, thousands of stray dogs and cats struggle to survive in our city streets, alleyways, and abandoned homes.
Alone, starving, and in desperate need of care, these poor creatures struggle for their meager existence.
Many dogs spend their entire lives in “solitary confinement,” trapped at the end of a chain or in a small pen, suffering through frightening thunderstorms, suffocating heat, and bitter cold. Rarely, if ever, do they receive vital medical care, and almost always they are aching for friendship.
Too often dogs/cats are caged, hunted, beaten, tortured, starved, chained, exploited, or simply forgotten.
Most are not spayed or neutered and will continue to add to the unchecked population of puppies and kittens entering this harsh world.
It is visions of these poor creatures that drive Mutz: The Urban Underdog to help change all of this.
